Kimberly Weaver, MD, is a gastroenterologist with AHN Medicine Institute, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease. She is particularly focused in adult patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

She went to medical school at Marshall University — Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. Dr. Weaver did her residency and her fellowship in gastroenterology at University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Dr. Weaver is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Weaver is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Her various research and publications have helped better the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases. She sees patients ages 18 and older.
