Rachel Smith-Bowery: Rachel Bowery, NP

Rachel Bowery, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse specialist providing telehealth psychiatry services from Copperas Cove, Texas, to Texas and Florida residents. Rachel takes a holistic approach to mental health, treating the whole person, not just their diagnosis or symptoms.

After earning her associate degree in nursing at Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas, Rachel completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.

Before earning her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, Rachel gained experience in her field, working as a staff nurse, nursing supervisor, case manager, private pediatric nurse, and school nurse.

Dedicated to her education and profession, Rachel returned to school for her doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) at Touro University Nevada in Henderson. She then completed her post-graduate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) certification at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Since completing her PMHNP certification, Rachel has provided mental health services and medication management through telehealth.

Rachel provides supportive and compassionate care to children, teens, and adults, diagnosing and treating conditions like anxiety, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
