Betsey Marie Steimel, FNP-C

Betsey Steimel, FNP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine. She completed her medical training at Maryville University in St. Louis.

Betsey sees patients of all ages for various gynecological needs, including well-woman exams, infection screening, birth control education and counseling, prenatal and postnatal care, and menopause education and management.

Betsey chose to specialize in family medicine because she enjoys building relationships and making connections with her patients throughout their life. She strives to build trust and believes in communicating effectively with each patient, making sure they understand any testing, diagnosis, treatments and medications.

Betsey was recognized with a 2023 PRC Excellence in Healthcare Award: Five-Star Award for Patient Satisfaction. This competitive national award recognizes organizations and providers that achieve excellence throughout the year by improving patient experiences.

Betsey is originally from Chesterfield, Missouri, and currently lives in the O’Fallon, Missouri area with her husband. She enjoys traveling, going on walks, hiking and crafting. She is very close with her family and loves spending time with them on weekends.
