I have been attending births in the Triangle area in various capacities and settings for over a decade. I practice midwifery in a way that prioritizes informed consent, trauma-informed care and bodily autonomy. I believe every birthing person deserves a midwife and finds joy coming alongside folks as they journey through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum transition. I support holistic preventative care, helping people make the right choices for themselves around menstrual health, contraception, birth choices and infant feeding. When I am not at work, I spend my time on my land in Saxapahaw, renovating my old farmhouse, cultivating food and medicinal herbs, and hanging out with my spouse and kids.
