Dr Jeroen Coppens provides surgical treatment for pituitary tumors, cerebral aneurysms, and meningiomas (tumors of brain and spinal cord). As a neurosurgeon, he performs operations for patients with neurological disorders such as cavernous malformations, arteriovenous malformations, and vascular malformations. Dr Coppens applies the latest surgical procedures in his work, including minimally invasive techniques for pituitary tumors.
His research interests include cerebral aneurysms and pituitary tumors.
Dr Coppens is an associate professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Neurosurgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
