Dr Mohammad Mahmoud specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of urologic cancers, including bladder, testicular, prostate, penile, adrenal, urethral, kidney and ureter. He performs robotic and laparoscopic surgical procedures for genitourinary cancers, as well as open surgery for complicated urologic cancers. Procedures include: nephrectomy (kidney removal), cystectomy (removal of urinary bladder), prostatectomy (prostate removal), orchiectomy (testicle removal), pelvic lymph node dissection, and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection.
He is interested in research regarding the treatment of kidney, bladder and testicular cancer; cancer survivorship; artificial intelligence in robotic surgery for cancer patients.
