Jocelyn Gates, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Providence Medical Group-Sherwood. Providing good health care, she believes, has to involve the whole person. “I was drawn to health care because it has such an important impact not just on physical health, but also on spiritual, emotional and social well-being,” she says. “A big part of my job is helping patients find their own inner motivation for maintaining and improving their health.” Whether she’s assisting patients with preventive measures or helping them achieve breakthroughs in their understanding of health, she enjoys building lasting relationships. Jocelyn earned her bachelor’s degree at Montana State University and her physician assistant degree at Creighton University.
