Our Captiva Model is the only patented lighting system specifically designed to light screen enclosure areas. The Original Lanai Light was developed by Bob Steele who, in 2006, was looking for a way to light up his dark lanai while not lighting up his neighbor’s at the same time. The light he wanted needed to be made for outdoor use, be safe, low-voltage and durable. When he was unsuccessful in finding a product to meet his needs, he set out to create his own.

The interest was so great, he and his partners started manufacturing Bob’s creation which has now grown into an industry. We continue with the high standards Bob set as we continually upgrade our fixtures with the latest technology while keeping Lanai Lights compatible to previous versions.
