Desert Speech LLC provides comprehensive speech therapy in Rancho Mirage, California. Speech-language pathologist Oksana DerDerian, MS, CCC-SLP, and the team take a personalized approach to care, keeping patients and their families well-informed about their treatment and progress.

The team at Desert Speech LLC provides speech therapy for people of all ages, from infants to older adults. They help with early childhood language development, reading skills, and social skills.

They also offer augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), teaching patients to communicate in ways other than talking. They also provide myofunctional therapy to re-educate oral and facial muscles to improve eating and speaking.

Oksana is American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified and California-licensed speech pathologist. She has a master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida.

After taking time off to raise her children, Oksana opened Desert Speech LLC in 2022. She combines evidence-based therapy with intuitive holistic knowledge to provide individual and family speech therapy services.

When not providing expert care at Desert Speech LLC, Oksana spends time with her family, traveling, or hanging out at the yoga studio.
