Voted one of Atlanta’s best orthopedic surgeons, Kellie K. Middleton, MD, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, is a former professional athlete and one of the only women orthopedic specialists in Gwinnett County. Dr. Middleton works with professional athletes, and her brothers were collegiate athletes, so she has the experience to match her expertise in sports medicine.

Dr. Middleton completed her orthopedic fellowship training at New York’s world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). She welcomes underserved people to her practice, including women and minority patients, viewing her work as a way of giving back to the community. She enjoys helping patients and treating the whole person rather than just seeing their injuries.

Dr. Middleton diagnoses and treats arthritis and other causes of knee, elbow, and shoulder pain, including rotator cuff injuries and other conditions typical of thrower's shoulder.
