Dr. McGowan likes spine surgery because it is an amazing field that has direct impact on peoples’ lives: it keeps people walking, improves their pain, and helps people live complete and full lives. He enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, camping, and woodworking with his family. He also enjoys sports. He played college baseball and spent 13 years playing football and basketball.
