Internal medicine has become my passion because I view primary care as the core to healthcare. A primary care provider is the first line of treatment in a wide variety of accessible resources. It is the home base of medicine that should always welcome and provide comfort to the patient. We are their lifeline to provide, direct, and coordinate their pathway to a healthy life.
