Akanksha S. Kashyap, MD

Early on, life experiences taught me the importance of health and the impact it has on someone’s daily life, thus prompting a career in medicine. I believe providing coordinated, quality care is a team effort by placing the patients and their communities in the center of care. I have a holistic approach to medicine by understanding how lifestyle, environmental, cultural and social factors impact an individual’s well-being. I have a special interest in preventive care and quality improvement. Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, hiking, learning about space and recently have taken an interest in gardening.
