What drives our passion for the health care niche?
The experience of growing older is reflection on what you did well and what did not go well. My example of this was my mother who as a hospital administrative assistant consistently put her 10% away to save up for a rainy day. Not making very much money did not deter her from the ultimate goal of having enough money at the end of her life to be able to live a comfortable retirement and leave something for her children which she most admirably did. Latest US data indicates that almost 30% of babyboomers have no savings at all for retirement.
