Mrinal Dhar, MD

Dr. Mrinal Dhar is a board-certified urologist who partners with his patients to serve their general urology and men’s health needs at Hoag Urology and Urologic Oncology. He practices general urology with a focus on minimally invasive surgery. His clinical interests include endourology, kidney stone disease, overactive bladder (OAB) and men’s health (erectile dysfunction, low testosterone, enlarged prostate and vasectomy).

Dr. Dhar is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Calgary and completed his residency at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. He completed his fellowship training in endourology and laparoscopy at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

Dr. Dhar is involved with multiple professional organizations, including the Endourological Society and American Urological Association, and is an avid researcher. He has participated in a number of research presentations and has published several book chapters in urologic education journals.

Dr. Dhar’s interests outside of medicine include traveling and all things sports, including playing golf and tennis and watching professional sports.
