Ramadurgam Poliki Monica Reddy, MD

As a child, Dr. Reddy watched as a loved one endured a major illness and she recalls feeling helpless. It was this defining experience that Dr. Reddy came to the realization that she wanted to be a physician where she would be able to do more and help people.

With a very approachable and calm demeanor, Dr. Reddy makes her patients feel comfortable and heard. She wants them to know she is there for them and they can trust her to provide the highest level of care. In her practice, Dr. Reddy treats adult patients with a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, diabetes, thyroid, bone, reproductive and adrenal and pituitary pathology.
Dr. Reddy selected a career in endocrinology as she understands the importance of hormones as it relates to overall health and wants to help her patients feel better. She focuses her practice on educating her patients so they can collaboratively determine the best course of treatment. As she states, “I enjoy working with my patients and building relationships. By providing them with the information and resources they seek, I empower them to make informed decisions which benefits them in the long-term.”
Born in India, Dr. Reddy also speaks Telugu and Hindi. A graduate of Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in India, she completed her internal medicine residency at Griffin Hospital in Connecticut and her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

When not working, Dr. Reddy enjoys spending time with her husband and dog as well as practicing yoga, hiking, playing basketball and traveling.
