Shawn Kaye, MD

A Southern Californian native, Dr. Kaye is thrilled to return home to serve his community as an internal medicine physician. His choice to pursue medicine was inspired by watching his mom undergo and beat a serious medical condition when he was young. This left a lasting impression on him as he realized the critical role he could play as a physician.Dr. Kaye chose internal medicine as he enjoys connecting with people and helping them solve their simple and complex problems. He appreciates the wide breadth of patients he treats and takes the time to create a relationship of trust with each of his patients.He focuses on providing an individualized approach to patient care. As Dr. Kaye states it best, I believe it is important to partner with my patients and understand their specific situation in order to provide the best care possible. Through this collaboration, we can build a plan together.Dr. Kaye is board certified and received his medical degree from University of California, Irvine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and completed his residency at Stanford University. With a focus on preventive medicine, he is currently accepting new patients and welcomes adults age 18 and older.Outside of work, Dr. Kaye enjoys playing guitar, surfing, swimming, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his family.
