Vivian Aranez, MD

As a board-certified Allergist and Immunologist for Hoag Medical Group, Dr. Aranez welcomes both pediatric and adult patients. Some of the common conditions she treats include food allergies, asthma, eczema, environmental allergies, sinusitis, hives and primary immunodeficiencies.

Working in a rapidly evolving field, Dr. Aranez places a focus on collaboration with her patients toward a shared goal. As someone that struggled with allergies, Dr. Aranez understands the impact it has on one’s quality of life and the importance of a physician who can relate to their patients.

Dr. Aranez is excited to be a part of Hoag and looks forward to serving the local community. As she states, “I enjoy the interaction with my patients and watching them overcome challenges. I want my patients to know that I am here to help them in any way I can.”

She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and went on to complete her pediatrics residency and allergy & immunology fellowship at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.

In her spare time outside of work, Dr. Aranez enjoys spending time with her husband and children, trying new cuisines, traveling and being outdoors.
