As a nurse, I was seeing patients in the hospital who could have avoided being hospitalized if they had proper care in the outpatient setting. I became an advanced practice provider because I wanted to improve my patients’ quality of care and life. For me, it is important that I establish a relationship with my patients. I want them to feel comfortable in discussing their health, physical and mental, with me. I like for them to think of us a team as we make medical decisions together. When I am not at work, I am a mom to my two very active girls. I love reading. I am always wanting to try new restaurants and visiting new places .
