Jessica Therien, NP

Jessica Therien, NP, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in internal medicine. She completed her medical training at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jessica treats patients ages 18 and above for various health conditions and illnesses, including colds and flu, migraine, sleep issues, allergies, asthma, thyroid disorders, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anxiety, and depression. She offers annual wellness and well-woman exams, and health screenings, promotes preventative medicine and offers weight management counseling.

Jessica spent most of her nursing career in an ICU setting, caring for patients with preventable and manageable chronic health diseases. Jessica likes that internal medicine allows her to focus on preventing and managing chronic health issues while also developing a trusting, long-term relationship with patients.

Jessica believes that the patient is the most important member of the health care team, as they know their bodies better than anyone else. Her goal is to provide support and education and help her patients reach their health care goals through the treatment plan developed together as a team.

Jessica is from southern Indiana and lives in Edwardsville, Illinois, with her husband, children, and dog. She loves bike riding, swimming, and spending time outdoors.
