Noor Majed Dasouki Abu-Alnadi, MD

I am known by my patients and staff as “Dr. Noor.” I am an expert in minimally invasive surgery and treat the full scope of gynecologic surgical and pelvic pain issues including fibroids, endometriosis, heavy or abnormal uterine bleeding, essure-related pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Though I have special interests in robotic surgery, fertility preserving endometriosis and fibroid care, and surgical care of obese patients, I believe in providing comprehensive gynecologic care, especially in populations such as breast cancer survivors. My motto is, “we are here to serve the people of North Carolina,” and I have a strong commitment to my immediate community. I am the Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) OB/GYN representative, which links UNC statewide with patients and providers through educational and medical programs. I believe in providing care for all populations and work with local refugee populations. I have headed international medical relief efforts for gynecologic care in Jordan and Lebanon for several years. When not providing medical care, my two sources of joy are my family and sunshine.
