Awaken Church

Awaken Church is a community of believers with a unique history that began with the dream of ten Christian University of Florida alumni to establish a campus ministry and a campus church that would help introduce college students to Jesus Christ. In 1997, they founded Jacksonville Christian Life (JCL) on the University of North Florida (UNF) campus, which later led to the birth of Awaken Church in September 2008. Since then, our passion has been fixed on effectively mobilizing young people and the young-at-heart to God-driven action and empowering them to live mature and missional lives. Our non denominational churches in Jacksonville, Florida, strive to provide a space where everyone can experience the love of God and grow in their faith. We believe that everyone should have access to a welcoming and supportive environment where they can connect with others and deepen their relationship with God. At Awaken Church, we believe that worshiping God and connecting with others is not limited to Sunday mornings.
