Zinnat A. Begum, MD

Zinnat Begum, MD, MSHS, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Providence Medical Group-Orenco. “Good health care starts with the primary care physician,” she believes, “and building a good doctor-patient relationship is at the core of primary care.” She practices evidence-based medicine with a particular interest in preventive care. Born and raised in Bangladesh, Dr. Begum earned a degree in medicine and surgery at Dhaka Medical College. She also holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences from Purdue University. She completed a preliminary general surgery internship at Oregon Health & Science University, followed by a residency with the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program. She speaks English and Bengali.
