Brittan McKinney, PA-C

Brittan McKinney, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Cardiology department after working in a Trauma & Critical Care position since 2022. Having been a scribe for Iowa Clinic providers in previous years, Brittan admired their dedication to patient care and willingness to teach, which is what drove her to The Iowa Clinic.

The complexity and challenges that come along with Cardiology is what Brittan loves most, specifically the pathophysiology of the heart. Playing a part in patient recoveries from significant illnesses is one of the most rewarding parts for Brittan, so she takes extra time with patients and families to educate them about various aspects about their health.
