Kay Waud, M.D. PhD

Dr. Kay Waud, MD PhD, is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility sub-specialist. After receiving her PhD from Chalmers University of Technology, she worked at NICHD followed by Cedars Sinai Hospital as a research fellow. Her love for science and personal passion for women’s health led her to pursue a medical degree at UC San Diego.
She completed her REI fellowship at the prestigious Jones Institute where the first baby in the USA was conceived with IVF. During her fellowship, she was awarded research grants to conduct studies on vitamin D deficiency among male infertility patients and a randomized controlled trial comparing treatments for women with heavy menstrual bleeding.
