Toner Architects was founded in 2010 and is known for Philadelphia vernacular architecture that
inspires surprise and delight, pushes boundaries, and finds unique opportunities in every
project. We are driven to shape spaces that create long term value through collaboration and
innovation. Our culture fosters long-term relationships through a shared passion for design,
architecture, and building.


We are a mid-sized architecture and interior design firm focused on collaboration. The team’s
mission is to enhance and create spaces for living, congregating, and connecting through
transformation. Our office is based in South Philadelphia, but our work is known regionally. We
work on residential, retail, restaurant and food service, hospitality, gaming, corporate offices and
high-rises, daycare and learning centers, K-12 and higher education, religious, healthcare,
preservation, adaptive reuse, sustainable design, and transportation projects.
