David E. Lin, MD

David E. Lin, MD, FACG, is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract.After graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Lin earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency at Columbia University Medical Center and served his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lakeside VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL.Dr. Lin treats a range of conditions, including acid reflux diseases (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and colon cancer. He is trained and experienced in all endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy, polyp removal, and endoscopy (EGD). He has special experience in biliary endoscopy (ERCP), PillCam SB Capsule endoscopy, and non-surgical hemorrhoid treatments. He also specializes in treating chronic liver diseases, including cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis C and hepatobiliary diseases.Dr. Lin is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
