Iram Ahmad, MD

Iram Ahmad, MD, specializes in general endocrinology, including thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, Cushing’s syndrome, osteoporosis, and diabetes. She also has significant expertise in thyroid cancer and endocrine-related complications related to cancer treatment. Dr. Ahmad’s goal is to ensure her patients understand their disease and its treatment recommendations. She believes communication is key as she works as part of a team with her patient and other health care providers. She always does her best to treat her patients as she would wish to be treated. Dr. Ahmad is a member of the Endocrine Society and American Thyroid Association. Away from work, Dr. Ahmad enjoys cooking, barre, reading, travel, music and art history.
