Maher Astwani, MD

Maher Astwani, M.D. received his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt. From there he completed an internal medicine residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, and a neurology residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He achieved his fellowship in neurophysiology at the Medical College of Georgia. He holds board certifications in both neurology and psychiatry. Dr. Astwani has a special interest in treatment of migraines, seizure disorders, Parkinson disease, neuromuscular disorder and sleep disorders. In his spare time, Dr. Astwani enjoys shopping, traveling, going to restaurants, and spending time with his wife and kids. Dr. Astwani welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
