Erich A. Hinel, O.D., M.S., FAAO

Erich A. Hinel O.D., M.S., is a member of the cornea, glaucoma, and uveitis teams at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. He sees patients at the University Medical Arts Building in Clifton and at the main office in Blue Ash. Dr. Hinel completed his undergraduate education in biomedical science at Grand Valley State University. He studied optometry at The Ohio State University and graduated cum laude. In addition, he was invited to concurrently complete a master’s degree in vision science and contributed to research projects and publications in dry eye and ocular surface disease. He was selected to the Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key Optometric honor societies and was recognized as the Senior Student of the Year by the Ohio Optometric Association.
