Barbara Houde, O.D., M.Sc.

Barbara Houde O.D., M.Sc., joined the Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI) to assist in the glaucoma and retina clinics. After 13 years of working in the retina clinic, she transitioned her focus solely to the glaucoma clinic. Dr. Houde earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Montreal in 1994 and went on to complete a Primary Care Residency at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She then received her Master’s Degree in Vision Science from the University of Montreal with Dean’s list of honors. Following, a one-year glaucoma fellowship was obtained at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
