May El Rashedy, MD

Dr. El Rashedy, MD, PhD is a Retina Specialist who specializes in retinal disorders. She offers care for diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, age related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. She has special interest in treating different types of uveitis, macular diseases and inherited retinal disorders. Dr. El Rashedy earned her medical degree from the University of Cairo in Egypt. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Cairo in Egypt. Dr. El Rashedy then went on to complete a Uveitis and ocular immunology research fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgical Institute, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at Case Western Reserve and a retina fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
