Pamela Phillips, Ph.D., FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and the founder of Phillips Family Medical in DeSoto, Texas. Pamela has worked in health care her entire career. Pamela earned her doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from Texas Woman’s University and her master’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She started her career as a registered nurse working in labor and delivery, health departments, TB Control and hospitals around Texas. Her experiences led to a desire to create her family practice, and Phillips Family Medical was born. She wanted to provide her patients with personalized care and a family medical home.
