Amanda M Terrell, APRN

Amanda M. Terrell, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates – Shepherdsville. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Bellarmine University School Nursing in Louisville.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Andrea provided patient care at Norton Hospital on a medical/surgical floor. She went into nursing with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner and a primary care provider. She enjoys primary care because it allows her to maintain and foster relationships with her patients through adulthood.
Andrea’s main clinical interests include preventive care, health maintenance and health promotion, as well as diabetes management and education, and minimizing cardiovascular risk factors. Amanda wants her patients to feel that they are working as a team to maintain health and troubleshoot any issues her patients are having. She wants patients to feel that their voices are heard, and that they can approach and trust her with their questions.
