Walls of Books

Walls of Books Oviedo has been part of the Central Florida community since December 2019. The store is owned and operated by Jennifer O’Neal-Rojas and her husband, Abdon Rojas. Jennifer and Abdon are both retired from the U.S. Air Force and moved to Oviedo in 2018, and Abdon also works as a pilot for Southwest Airlines.

As an avid reader and bibliophile (who did lots of reading while on deployments and long flights), Jennifer always thought owning a bookstore would be a dream job. However, she never considered it a realistic possibility.

That changed when their son, Jacob, asked if his favorite bookstore, Gottwals Books (located in Warner Robins, GA), was also in Florida. After Jennifer explained the franchise concept to Jacob and discovered there were no Walls of Books in Florida, Jacob asked why they couldn’t open a Walls of Books in Oviedo. Thus began the family journey to bringing a Walls of Books to Florida.
