Prachi Jain, MD

Prachi Jain, MD, is board certified in radiation oncology and provides care with the Springfield Clinic Cancer Center. Dr. Jain earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and completed her radiation oncology residency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell in New Hyde Park, NY. She also completed a fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery/body radiotherapy at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, CT."I had a close family member undergo cancer treatment," says Dr. Jain. "Watching them go through that treatment made me want to go into medicine and specifically oncology."A biomedical engineer by trade, Dr. Jain found that radiation oncology is a great mix of medicine and cutting-edge technology."My goal each time is to provide personalized and high-quality care to my patients," says Jain. "I am also passionate about the future directions of radiation oncology, including radiosurgery and stereotactic radiation."In her free time, Dr. Jain enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her daughter and husband.
