Kelsey Wayne, MSW, LCSW

I chose to become a licensed clinical social worker because being connected to my community and challenging societal injustices are both central to my value system. I enjoy supporting the holistic wellness of those I serve, as well as assisting folks in better understanding their environment and how this plays a role in their mental health. I love helping individuals reconstruct their views of their problem areas to observe them as opportunities for growth, healing, and continued consciousness. My philosophy of patient care centers on the individual being the expert of themselves, and I approach care from a strength and solution-based perspective. My areas of special interest are adolescent mental health, anxiety and depression, LGBTQ+ populations and use of mindfulness and movement as part of treatment. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, stand up paddle boarding, being outside, and traveling whenever I can.
