Donny and his wife, Shelby have been married since September 1994. They have two daughters, Lexus and Bentley. Donny moved from Oklahoma to Joplin in 1986. Shelby's family moved to Joplin from Kansas City in 1975. Lexus and Bentley are true Joplin natives.
