Chris Gibbs, MD

Christopher Gibbs, MD, joined The Iowa Clinic after a decade in a successful gastroenterology practice in Rockford, Illinois. He was accustomed to delivering high quality and compassionate care, with emphasis on the needs of the patient, and quickly saw The Iowa Clinic shared those values.

Interested in both clinical medicine and procedures, Dr. Gibbs chose a career in gastroenterology. Building lasting relationships with his patients has been one of the most rewarding parts of his job. In addition, he maintains a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis).
