Kate Maurer, PT has been with The Iowa Clinic since 2014. She was initially impressed by the reputation throughout Central Iowa, the high level of clinical expertise, and management's support for the professional growth of clinicians at The Iowa Clinic.

Human anatomy and the biomechanics of movements have always been a love of Kate's. She wanted to be an expert in these areas and loves to help people, making physical therapy the perfect specialty. Being the catalyst for the improvement of an individual's quality of life that might not happen without her intervention is her favorite part of physical therapy. Recently, Kate was board certified in orthopedics, meaning she has the most current knowledge in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.
