She then attended DeVry University, based in Naperville, Illinois, where she completed a master’s degree in nurse executive, a post-master’s certificate in nursing informatics, and a master of business administration (MBA). 

Janelle earned her post-master’s family nursing practitioner certification at Long Island University Brooklyn in New York City.
