Dr. Lewis G. Rashid, MD

Lewis G. Rashid, M.D., completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science with Honors. He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and proceeded to complete his general surgery training at the Michigan State University Integrated General Surgery Residency.

Dr. Rashid has special interest in minimally invasive surgery including robotics, advanced laparoscopic, and advanced endoscopy. He also performs a wide variety of surgery including thyroid, breast, foregut and hindgut surgery, biliary, abdominal wall reconstruction and hernia repair, and acute care surgery.
