Dr. Leighla A. Smith, DO

Dr. Leighla Smith is a board-certified provider who embraces a philosophy of comprehensive healthcare for the entire family. She likes to work with her patients to develop healthy habits for life, including balanced diet and active lifestyle. Dr. Smith says she always knew she wanted to go into family medicine in order to support growing families. She is very passionate about the breastfeeding journey and supporting women in their transition with a newborn, as well as providing musculoskeletal care in her practice. Smith is a wife and mother who resides in, and looks forward to serving, the community of Charlotte. She enjoys playing with her children at home and in the local parks, playing golf with her husband, and cooking for her family.
