Military Housing Assistance Fund

MHAF assists active military and veteran families by providing them with gift funds to assist them with purchasing a home.

In a Rand Corporation study, it was found that only 27.3% of military families own their own home. In this same study, when asked why, nearly half said that it was because they could not afford to do so. Our closing cost assistance program is designed to help cover the closing costs for our nation's heroes when they purchase a home.

Our mission is to expand housing opportunities to both veterans and active duty military, guard, and reserve personnel and to promote the value of home ownership as the foundation for building strong communities and personal security for men and women serving our country in uniform.
