Damon G. LaBarbera, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, offers in-person sessions in Rockville Centre, New York, for clients with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and other life problems. Dr. LaBarbera also offers telehealth services from Rockville Centre and Union City, New Jersey offices for residents in Florida.

A graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. LaBarbera attended an APA-Approved Clinical Psychology Program and APA-Approved Clinical Psychology Internship. In solo private practice for over three decades, he is known to peers and clients as an effective and sought-after therapist.

Dr. LaBarbera has extensive experience treating mild to severe psychological disorders, including social anxiety, panic attacks, workplace stress, trauma, depression, and dissociation. He has completed thousands of psychological batteries ordered by neurologists, psychiatrists, bariatric and pain surgeons, and many private, military, and state agencies.

Using a variety of techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as psychological tests to aid in diagnosis and measure progress. He carefully assesses biological features that may contribute to psychological problems, and frequently works with clients with chronic medical diseases and psychological symptoms.
