As the child of a military family, I love the variety and adventure that family medicine brings. It allows me to meet and help people of different backgrounds.
Building relationships with entire families is extremely fulfilling. As a parent, I know the value of a cohesive family unit. That connectedness also helps me reach my primary goal of positively impacting my patients’ health. By listening and providing honest feedback to parents, children and grandparents, I collaborate to improve their health in sustainable ways.
Seeing families succeed in their health goals is what brings the most joy to my day. Whether my patients are beating cancer or reaching a weight loss goal, we celebrate those achievements together. Their trust makes it all possible.
