Ismail H. Kasimoglu, MD

Dr. Ismail H. Kasimoglu is a board-certified UCI Health endocrinologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and metabolic disorders, thyroid diseases and other conditions of the endocrinology system.

He earned his medical degree at the UCI School of Medicine, in Irvine, Calif. He completed a residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology, both at the UCI School of Medicine. He also holds a PhD in biomedical engineering and an MBA, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Kasimoglu has written abstracts and performed clinical research in general endocrinology and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics including endocrinology, biomedical technology, medical education, emergency medicine and hospital medicine. He has performed research in ultrasound technology and designed a novel high-frequency ultrasound software and hardware system.
