Anilkumar Vinayakan, MD

Dr. Vinayakan received his medical degree in India and completed an anesthesiology residency and pain management fellowship at The State University of New York. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. Prior to joining Norton Healthcare, Dr. Vinayakan spent three years as program director of the Pain Medicine Fellowship program at the University of Louisville. He also served in an academic role with the university's Department of Anesthesiology for more than five years. He has special expertise in implantable therapy, including spinal cord stimulation and spinal infusion pumps.
