Tara R Chernecke, APRN

Tara Chernecke, APRN, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2008 from Indiana University Southeast, graduating with high distinction.  She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University in 2015. Tara is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Tara’s nursing career has been focused in Pediatrics including bedside nursing at Norton Children’s Hospital and Care Coordination for The Kentucky Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs.  She has been providing primary care in pediatrics in the role of nurse practitioner since 2015.A native of Louisville, Tara enjoys spending time with her two teenaged children, watching movies, travel, woodworking, and home improvement projects.
