Cassondra D Degener, APRN

Cassondra D. Degener, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with the cardiology group at Norton Heart and Vascular Institute. She earned her nursing degree at Bellarmine University, Louisville, Kentucky, and her degrees in dietetics and advanced nursing practice at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. Her 16 years of health care experience led to her career at Norton Healthcare, where she works in outpatient, inpatient and operating room settings.
Cassie’s focus is to create an environment of trust by treating patients and their families with respect and professionalism to achieve the best patient outcomes. She is a Louisville native. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family here in her hometown.
